Why Choose Cloth Diapers?

No Harsh Chemicals
Unlike disposable diapers, cloth diapers don’t contain the harsh chemicals that are used for absorbency in disposables. This means fewer diaper rashes for your baby’s sensitive skin! Some of the chemicals included in disposable diapers are sodium polyacrylate, which has been linked to Toxic Shock Syndrome, tribulytin, which can harm the endocrine system and dioxin which can cause immune suppression and liver disease. Other studies have linked increased incidences of urinary tract infections in baby girls who are diapered in disposables.

  Eco-Friendly
Experts estimate that it takes five hundred years for a disposable diaper to decompose! Cloth diapers can be washed and reused for multiple children.

  Easier to Potty Train
Since it’s harder for toddlers to feel when they are wet with disposable diapers, it takes many toddlers in disposables much longer to become potty trained than children who are diapered in cloth.
